Two Ways I Work With Clients

1️⃣ Business Audit

One-off engagement

“Before fixing anything, we need to understand what's really broken.”

The Business Audit is designed for owners who feel that something in the business isn't right — but can't confidently say what or why.

This is not a surface-level review and not a generic consulting exercise.

During the audit, we focus on:

  • • where the business is leaking time, money, or customers
  • • which problems are symptoms versus root causes
  • • what actually deserves attention — and what doesn't

The outcome is clarity:

  • • clear priorities
  • • clear trade-offs
  • • clear next steps

You walk away knowing:

  • • what is holding the business back
  • • what to fix first
  • • what will not move the needle

This is a one-time engagement, designed to create understanding and direction.

Most clients use the Business Audit as the foundation for further improvement — either on their own or together with me.

2️⃣ Business Partner

Ongoing involvement

“Some problems don't get solved in a single project.”

The Business Partner engagement is for owners who want ongoing support, judgment, and accountability, not just advice.

In this role, I work alongside the owner to improve how the business runs and grows over time.

This may involve:

  • • helping make better decisions, faster
  • • supporting execution where it actually matters
  • • addressing recurring issues before they escalate
  • • keeping focus on what truly drives results

There is no predefined playbook and no fixed checklist.
The work evolves as the business evolves.

This engagement is:

  • • selective
  • • hands-on where needed
  • • focused on outcomes, not activity

I don't act as an external advisor who drops in occasionally.
I act as a thinking and execution partner who stays involved.

How This Typically Works

Most engagements follow a simple path:

  1. 1. We start with a Business Audit to establish clarity
  2. 2. If ongoing support makes sense, we continue as Business Partner
  3. 3. If it doesn't, you leave with a clear plan and full ownership

Not every business needs a long-term partner.
Not every owner wants one.

That's intentional.

Who This Is For

This work is a good fit if you:

  • • run a small or mid-sized business
  • • feel that effort and results are misaligned
  • • want honest thinking, not reassurance
  • • value clarity over noise
  • • are willing to act on uncomfortable insights

It is not a good fit if you:

  • • are looking for generic advice
  • • want a checklist or framework to follow blindly
  • • expect quick fixes without real change
  • • want to outsource responsibility

Next Step

If this resonates, the next step is a short introductory call.

We'll discuss:

  • • your situation
  • • what feels stuck
  • • whether working together makes sense

If it doesn't, I'll tell you.

Good decisions compound. Bad ones linger.
